Nutrition Matters
Hello! My name is Rochanda Scott. I am a devoted wife and mother of two. My hobbies include exercising, community volunteering, reading and fishing.

I began my journey toward a career in Nutrition in 2019 after working in the Oil and Gas industry for almost 30 years. My passion is driven from enduring the loss of several family members as a result of poor lifestyle and unhealthy eating habits.

I obtained a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Prairie View A&M University in 1990 and worked as a Project Manager overseeing new capital project construction installations. Although my Engineering career is fulfilling my passion remains in Nutrition Education and sharing knowledge about healthy eating and living a lifestyle that promotes longevity and quality.

Driven by my passion I pursued and obtained my Master of Science in Nutrition degree from Lamar University in August 2021. I am a professional Nutritionist who is very passionate about Nutrition. I specialize in Community Nutrition Education and am committed to making a difference in the lives of others by helping the community become knowledgeable about and embracing a healthy lifestyle for improved quality of life. I am happy to assist and provide guidance to reinforce healthy lifestyle habits.
